*don’t forget that there are Open Mic slots on the hour every hour between 1pm and 5pm – so come and have a go yourself!

At 1pm
Dave Rave Poet will start off our show for the day with a ten minute spoken word slot
1:15 to 2pm
Will Salter and others
Will is one half of the incredible Sketch House Story Emporium will delight and provoke with his dada sound-poem set. “Not exactly wordy – but vocal nonetheless”!

Telltales 2:15 to 3pm
We’re please to announce that Telltales the bi-monthly night for readers, writers and listeners will be reading their work.  The Telltale writers will include
Clare Howdle, Sarah Valmai,
Aaron Kent and Genevra Fletcher
If you are keen to hear what Cornwall’s writing scene has to say for itself, come along and listen – all ears welcome.J

Caravanserai 3:15 to 4pm
One definition of a caravan is “a company of people”, and a Caravanserai is a place where companies of people meet. Come and join the storyteller Mac Dunlop and singer songwriter Jeanne Naylor for forty five minutes of good company from two regulars of The Fireside Sessions.
Mac Dunlop
Will perform some new work from his recent Pieces of 8 story commissions which took place around Falmouth during the Tall Ships Festival as part of Fascinate 2014.
Jeanne’s music is inspired by 80s artists and 90s garage sounds. Her vocal performance is principally influenced by soul. This budding songwriter makes electronic music but writes her material on acoustic instruments.

4:15 to 5pm
Sketch House
This last slot in the Spoken Word Marquee is being programmed by the illustrious Sketch House,
