Come and  enjoy a festive menu devised by The Courtyard Deli to showcase the best and most heart-warming food the yuletide season has to offer -including a complimentary toasting shot of Cornish Meade:
There will be home-baked bread and oil on arrival followed by a starter of deli-made ham hock terrine, or baked Cornish brie for vegetarians, with spiced red cabbage chutney. The main course will be roast baby pumpkin with a melted Gruyère fondue filling served with roast Cornish vegetables. The meal will be rounded off with a pudding of Christmas tart, made with the deli’s own boozy, quince mincemeat and served with clotted cream.
Gluten free, vegan and dairy free diets can be catered for on request.
Not forgetting the ‘food for the soul’ fare being laid on by caravanserai, including:
Rob Barratt
AKA ‘The Bard of Bodmin’, who describes himself as ‘a slightly mad poet and songwriter’ and has been regaling audiences with rhythmic tales of the awkward and the everyday, like his kareoke love story… ok maybe not that everyday!
Nick Jarvis
Falmouth’s own ‘Voice of the Possible’ who features in the latest edition of Parabola -the ongoing Telltales Publishing project that features new and exciting writing talent from around the region.
Seamas Carey
Is a young composer and songwriter, who has played in bands like The Busketeers, UnderDog, as well as composing entire soundtracks for stage and screen, most recently masterminding the sold out silent film screenings at the Falmouth Royal Polytechnic.
Mac Dunlop
Your host for the evening is known for his ‘Unspoken Words’ storytelling broadcasts, which have gone out over the last three years on The Source FM here in Cornwall, and on London’s Resonance FM.
