If any or all of the above apply, have we got an event for you. One of The Times’ Top Ten Literary Stars of the Year, word wizard, gaming enthusiast and creative genius Ross Sutherland is hitting Falmouth on the 9 June, offering an exclusive insight into his mind, his work and his creative process.
It’s a chance to question creativity and how it works, fire your own imagination in a different way and leave inspired. Ross Sutherland tells the story of how an accidental encounter with Pacman ended up completely changing his understanding of the creative process. Since then, Sutherland has written two books and three live shows, all written using strategies borrowed from game design. Ross will talk about the importance of play within creativity, and how different modes of play can yield different results.30 minutes of Ross’ chat followed by 30 minutes of Q&A , for whole new outlook on what being creative means?
